Fall in love. Every single day.

I recently crossed paths with an old acquaintance who was just told he only had months to live. I overheard him say "I try to fall in love, every single day." I was struck by this statement. Granted, this young man may have been talking about the grandiose, given the limited time he has left. But too often I pass through my busy days without stopping to note the things that I find pretty, catch my creative eye or simply make me smile. So here I will take the time. Big or small. I will try to fall in love. Every single day.
